Description

We are HBOX Therapies GmbH, an Aachen-based medical device startup. We are developing a platform technology for hyperbaric blood oxygenation. Our first application is called miniaturized respiratory assist (MiRA) – the first alternative to invasive ventilation. Lung-failure patients do not have to be invasively ventilated in a coma anymore, potentially reducing complication rates, hospital length of stay and therefore treatment costs. Most importantly, patients are more likely to survive.
